How to enable your SSL in Squarespace

SSL stands for secure sockets layer, and it's an added level of security for a website that is considered an industry standard. This tutorial will show you how to enable the SSL for your Squarespace site.

To turn on your SSL, follow these steps:

  1. From your main menu, select Settings

  2. Scroll down and click on Advanced

  3. Scroll down and click on SSL

  4. Toggle on Secure (Preferred)

  5. Optional: Toggle on HSTS Secure

  6. Save your changes
