How to password protect your Squarespace site

What you’ll need: A Squarespace 7.1 website (you can still be in the free trial mode)

How to set a password for your entire site:

  1. Navigate to your Settings Menu

  2. Select Site Availability

  3. Chose the Password Protected option

  4. Type in the password you want to use

  5. Select save and all of your site content will only be accessible once the password has been correctly entered on the lock screen

Important info: This password is case sensitive so make sure you test it after you click save! For more information, be sure to visit this support article from Squarespace.
