A Beginner’s Guide to Squarespace Bandsintown Integration

A Squarespace bandsintown block is an easy way to display your tour, festival, or live stream schedule right on your Squarespace site.

When you connect this Squarespace content block with your Bandsintown profile, your website visitors can RSVP, buy tickets, join live shows, and even get reminders about upcoming events – all with just a click!

Important to know: You can't edit the block's content directly on Squarespace. Instead, make changes to your Bandsintown account, and they'll automatically update on your site.

How to add Bandsintown content to Squarespace

  1. Select edit on the top left-hand side of your website preview.

  2. Click the add block option on a page section, or the plus sign inside classic editor.*

  3. Select the Bandsintown option form the list of content blocks

  4. Double click on the block to edit the content, or select the pencil icon.

  5. Enter the Band Name that you are using on your Bandsintown account. If things aren't looking right, try using your artist ID instead.

  6. Using the Timeframe to show display option, choose between highlighting Upcoming shows or setting a Date Range to include past events.

What you can customize about the Bandsintown block using Squarespace

  • You can choose to display all upcoming shows or list specific dates.

  • The text style will match your paragraph 2 style and can not be changed for this specific content block using the site editor.

  • The button style will match the colors that are used by the color theme for that section of your site and cannot be changed for this specific content block using the site editor.

What you can customize about the Bandsintown block design using CSS

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet and it’s a special type of code that you can use to customize Squarespace. Squarespace designers use custom CSS when the design menu has limited options.
