Can AI make a good website? Squarespace thinks it can. In late 2023, Squarespace launched Blueprint, an AI platform designed to build you a website - colors, layouts, copy and all - based on your responses to five questions.

Squarespace Blueprint guides you through a series of five key questions about your website's purpose, style, and desired features. Based on your responses, Blueprint utilizes advanced algorithms to generate a personalized website foundation that reflects your unique vision. But Squarespace added an extra step this year that is fascinating to me as a website designer! They have integrated Squarespace BLueprint process with Squarespace’s AI content generator.

This new version of the process uses the AI content generator to update the text on the template it has created for you. The stock images are the same, but this step in the content creation process is theoretically handing over the keys to the robots so they can build an entire website for you based on your simple responses.
