For years, if I figured out how to make Squarespace do something interesting, fix something annoying, customize something weird, or work around something that technically wasn’t supposed to work that way... I made a tutorial about it.
Some of my tutorials still work beautifully.
Some have been replaced by new Squarespace features.
Some of them are for older versions of the platform, including Squarespace 7.0 Bring & Bedford sites.
I’m not updating this archive. I’m not supporting it. But I am keeping it available for anyone who wants to take a look.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT CAVEAT
This is an archive. Not a current tutorial library.
Nothing in the Archive is guaranteed to be current.
Squarespace changes constantly. Interfaces move. Features change. Class names get updated. Code stops working. New settings replace old workarounds.
Every resource includes its original publication date so you can decide whether it’s worth experimenting with.
Some older tutorials will still work exactly as written. Some will give you a useful starting point. Some belong firmly in the internets archaeological record.
And there’s one other thing you should know: Archive access does not include support. No troubleshooting, code fixes, tutorial updates, email support, or help adapting something to your site.
