[00:00:00] Have you ever spent an entire afternoon working on your Squarespace website only to step back and going, "What the heck did I just do? Where did all of that time go? Why did this take me so long?" If that's you, welcome to Think Inside the Square. This season is for you.

[00:00:24] I'm Becca, your favorite Squarespace nerd, back here with season two of Think Inside the Square.
[00:00:30] I'm switching things up here for season two. I think season one was pretty good. I'm pretty proud of the work that I put out there, but I've gotta be honest with you, it wandered. Some of the themes went away from Squarespace. I got into some personal SEO stuff I was dealing with with my business.
[00:00:45] I talked about some business management strategies. I interviewed some people, worked with some client stuff. It was definitely kind of all over the place, and that is not the vibe that I want for season two. This season, we are about all Squarespace all the [00:01:00] time. Now, if you're a Squarespace user or you're creating content for other people, this season is for you.
[00:01:06] This is for the Squarespace users and the Squarespace designers. I'm not doing two different versions of my podcast here, the design concepts that make a website look polished and not just thrown together, it's gonna be the same for both of you. When we're talking about some of the strategies for how to use the platform and why it works the way it does, that's gonna be for both of you.
[00:01:26] So if you're a do-it-yourselfer or a designer, you are in the right place, my friend. Now, here in this season, we're going to be covering some Squarespace specific topics. We're going to be talking about customization and where AI fits into that whole process. It's 2026, and I'm going to be discussing AI like the useful tool that it is. I'm not going to be avoiding it altogether, and I'm not gonna make it the main subject of this podcast, but it's something that I think is very useful for us as Squarespace users, and we'll absolutely be talking about some AI techniques and strategies here inside this podcast.
[00:01:59] [00:02:00] It's not gonna be the focus, but I'm definitely not going to ignore it. So if you're a fan of AI or a little curious about some cool and creative things that you can do with it, you're definitely gonna like this season
[00:02:09] we're also going to get into the platform itself, some of the Squarespace settings and features you might not know about, and we're definitely gonna talk about updates. Squarespace is constantly making changes to the platform, making improvements so that it's easier for us to use to bring our design visions to life, and I'm gonna make sure that we stay up to date on the latest and greatest from Squarespace.
[00:02:30] They made a lot of changes at the end of 2025, and they've slowly been rolling out more. So I'm gonna use Think Inside the Square to talk to you about the Squarespace updates to make sure that we are all on the same page
[00:02:41] And we're also going to be talking a little bit about launching because so many people have reached out to me with websites that are almost ready or not quite finished, websites that have been sitting on the shelf for way too long.
[00:02:53] So we're definitely going to address some launch fears in different episodes here in Think Inside the Square. What I want you to [00:03:00] take away from this comeback episode is that in the future, we are focused on Squarespace here. We're gonna talk about design, about customization, about feature updates, about how to make sure what you work on sees the light of day.
[00:03:12] We are focused on Squarespace in every single episode of Think Inside the Square season two
[00:03:18] One more thing before I go. I want you to think of one specific thing about your Squarespace website that you've been avoiding.
[00:03:25] Maybe it's a setting you're not sure about. Maybe it's a mobile experience where you're just not happy with the layout or the way the content's being displayed. Maybe it's your homepage or your about page. You know something needs an update, but you're really not sure where to begin. Maybe it's a color palette, a font choice, something that you wanna customize.
[00:03:43] Let me know about the one thing with your Squarespace website that you're struggling with right now, so we can make sure I address it here in season two of Think Inside the Square. I want you to write down that one thing and email it to me, hello@insidethesquare.co. My goal is to create 20 [00:04:00] episodes here for season two, and I wanna make sure that you get the content you're looking for, so let's make sure I address exactly what you want me to cover.
[00:04:08] Send an email to hello@insidethesquare.co. Again, the goal for season two is 20 episodes between now and October 2026. If you're listening to this long after that date has passed, send me an email anyway. Maybe I'm working on season three or season four. I'd love to hear from you. Send me the one thing that you're stuck on, hello@insidethesquare.co, so hopefully I'll have time to make an episode for you, so we can make sure it's addressed.
[00:04:33] Thank you so much for tuning into season two. I'm so excited to be back. We are focused on Squarespace this time. I'm gonna stay in my lane and make sure that you have the latest and greatest advice to build a website that you're proud of. I'm Becca from Inside the Square. Thank you so much for tuning in, and most importantly, have fun with your Squarespace website.
[00:04:52] Bye for now.

And we’re back!
Hey there Squarespacer. Becca here from insidethesquare. I took a break for at the end of 2025 and have been slowly returning to work. I’m ready to start this second season of InsideTheSquare with a fresh perspective on the new era of web design.
In this kickoff episode of season two, I'm sharing what's changing, what you can expect, and why this season is completely dedicated to helping you build a better Squarespace website.
If you've ever spent hours working on your website only to wonder where the time went, or found yourself stuck because you're not sure what to tackle next—this season is for you.
Unlike season one, which explored a mix of business topics, SEO conversations, interviews, and personal experiences, season two is staying focused on one thing: Squarespace.
Throughout the season, I'll be covering practical topics that help both DIY website owners and professional Squarespace designers create better websites.
We'll dive into website design principles, platform features you may not know exist, customization techniques, and the latest Squarespace updates as they're released. I'll also share practical ways to use AI as a tool to speed up your workflow without letting it take over the creative process.
One topic I'm especially excited to explore is website launches. So many people have beautiful websites sitting unfinished because they're waiting for everything to feel "perfect." We'll talk about overcoming launch fears, making confident decisions, and getting your website out into the world.
Most importantly, I want this season to answer your questions. If there's one part of your Squarespace website you've been avoiding—whether it's mobile design, your homepage, fonts, colors, navigation, or a confusing setting—I want to hear about it. Your feedback will help shape future episodes throughout the season.
Season two is all about giving you practical, actionable Squarespace advice so you can spend less time feeling stuck and more time building a website you're proud of.
What Should I Cover Next?
What's the one thing you're struggling with on your Squarespace website?
Maybe you're stuck on mobile design, unsure about a setting, frustrated with your homepage layout, or finally ready to customize your site. Whatever's slowing you down, I want to hear about it.
Fill out the form below and tell me what you'd like me to cover in a future episode of Think Inside the Square. I can't promise every question will become an episode, but I'll be using your feedback to shape the rest of season two and create content that's genuinely helpful for the Squarespace community.
I can't wait to hear what you're working on!
