What does this coaching program look like?

🎯 Personalized Learning Plan: We kick things off with a deep-dive session to understand your goals, assess your current skills, and map out a tailored learning path. This isn't a cookie-cutter curriculum – it's a roadmap designed just for you.

🖥️ Weekly 1-on-1 Coaching Sessions: The heart of the program! For 6 weeks, we'll meet virtually for a focused, 60-minute coaching session every Tuesday. We'll cover new concepts, work through challenges, and apply your skills to real projects.

🛠️ Hands-On Projects: Theory is great, but the magic happens when you apply it. We'll work on projects that align with your interests and career goals.

🚀 Code Reviews and Feedback: Submit your code between sessions and get detailed feedback. Learn how to write clean and efficient code that you can be proud of.

💪 Unlimited Q&A Support: Stuck between sessions? No worries! You'll have direct access to me for those "quick questions" that can make a big difference in your progress.

FAQs

  • This is not for beginners. You’ll need to have a basic grasp on the concept of CSS and have launched at least two Squarespace websites. If you are brand new to code, start with my free training at insidethesquare.co/learn

  • The next coaching session starts on January 16th, 2025 at 10am PT.

    All coaching calls are live online meetings hosted on Thursday’s at 10am PT

    • January 16th (kickoff call)

    • January 23rd (targeting & containers)

    • January 30th (colors & shadows)

    • February 6th (layout manipulation)

    • February 13th (devices & grids)

    • February 20th (states & animations)

    • February 27th (final challenge)

    • March 6th (optional followup call for support)

  • While the group sessions provide an ideal learning environment, I understand that there will be times when you can't make the group call.

    For those special circumstances, you can schedule up to three individual coaching sessions. These 30-minute calls are available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays between 9am and 7pm PT and are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  • The challenges are designed to mimic a real client request, like a specific layout need or targeted animation that Squarespace isn't equipped to handle.

    You get the resources you need to create the code it yourself, and on our weekly call on Thursday, everyone shares their take on the assignment.

    We work together to improve the code and help anyone who got stuck.

    It's an interactive way to learn the skills of CSS, and not just the quick fixes like my weekly tutorials

  • Each week we are focusing on a code theme, and the challenges are adjusted to suit the common needs of the small group. We will focusing on design techniques within these areas that will help you create designs for your ideal client:

    • January 16th (kickoff call)

    • January 23rd (targeting & containers)

    • January 30th (colors & shadows)

    • February 6th (layout manipulation)

    • February 13th (devices & grids)

    • February 20th (states & animations)

    • February 27th (final challenge)

    • March 6th (optional followup call for support)

  • Some of them, but not all. The code we cover will be specifically for customizing Squarespace websites and includes nuances like overwriting fluid engine layering techniques and targeting Squarespace specific selectors.

  • The cost of the 6 week program is $1500 USD.

    You can pay in full, or choose to make 3 monthly payments of $500.

    A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot in the program and will count towards the total program cost.

  • The next session will be August 7 September 2025.
